This is a photogram of my brother which I have developed in the dark room and then dyed the photogram with solarising chemicals and then placing them into colours. 

This is my hand embroidery study on a primary photograph. 

The embroidery creates an effect that the identity could be hidden or the embroidery slightly hides the identity of the subjects in the photograph. the pattern of the embroidery could also determine the the identity of the person or their personality. For example, a chaotic pattern could mean that person is slightly confused or troubled whereas a neat pattern could mean the person is calm and at ease.

These are photo montages.

I used my primary photographs I have ripped and then placed next to each other to create interesting effects as you are able to clearly see the different generations next to each other and you are able to see how different they all may seem to each other or even how similar they look to each other in the face shape.

The first piece is of all my brothers, my dad and then my grandad and the second piece is a photo of my eldest great-grandad (aged 89) and my youngest brother (aged 8).

My Final Piece

My final piece is a lino print where I have ripped another lino print and placed it on top of my main lino print, and the i have sewn the ripped pieces onto the main lino print.

My primary photographs for my final piece 

My sunset landscape photograph I had taken from my house in Portugal, then manipulated with my sewn flower piece and then changed settings of the sewn flower from 'normal' to darken, multiply, overlay. 

This is another image transferred piece, similar to the impasto technique however instead of using impasto gel, I stuck cello tape on top of the primary photograph, and then rubbed the paper away with water and the image had transferred onto the cello tape!

This is another multi-media experiment I created, however this time I 'trapped' a primary photograph into the medias I used. Again I used melted wax, wax droplets, wire and ink.

This is a piece of image transfer I created by first making a college of different coloured paper and then printing my primary photograph with an ink jet printer.

This is a image transfer I created by applying impasto onto my photograph then placing my photograph onto brown parcel paper, then by rubbing away the photograph with water, the image transferred onto the brown parcel paper.
